Montreal Is Building Giant "Glow Slides" Downtown This Winter

We may not have any ski hills in Montreal, at least not since people stopped skiing down Mount-Royal. But at least we have plenty of ways to barrel down a hill at lightning fast speeds.

How else are you supposed to make it through the winter?

Well the good news is that in addition to the usual toboggans, crazy carpets and GT snow racers you would normally use, we now also have an awesome glowing slide being built in downtown Montreal.

As part of the special activities planed for Montreal en Lumiere, the city is building "La Glissade Urbaine Le Lait"

The 110 metre long slide will be located on de l'Esplanade right at the center of all the action.

Check out everything else going on at Montreal en Lumiere right here.

If you love breakfast food and ice cream then one of Montreal's favourite creameries, Ca Lem, is about to make your weekend.

Ca Lem is giving away FREE Mini Pancake Cereal ice cream sundaes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to anyone with a TikTok account, thanks to a partnership with TikTok Canada.

[...] We thought why not have them in Montreal as well, that's where our story started," said Adam, owner of Marbello Gaufres Et Délices, told Narcity Media.
