Montreal is experiencing some pretty great weather this week. We've been blessed so far with above-average temperatures and beautiful, sunny skies.
Unfortunately, this streak is about to end.
I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news? It's going to be super warm tomorrow! We're going to experience warm, sunny weather with a high of 8 degrees.
The bad news? Montreal is going to experience a snowstorm on Friday, and it's going to be cold and snowing on Saturday as well.
TL;DR Montreal is going to see between 10 and 15 c.m. of snow this weekend, with snow expected on Friday and Saturday.
The Weather Network is predicting snow on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, Montreal will experience a snowstorm. Between 5 and 10 centimetres of snow are expected to fall, with an additional 5 centimetres of rain.
On Saturday, five more centimetres of snow is expected to fall.
On the bright side, it won't be too cold: temperatures will hover between -6 and 3.
Snowstorms in late winter/early spring aren't uncommon, but they sure as heck are demoralising. I am SO ready for warm temperatures.
I can't wait to see the pavement again... and wear sneakers without slipping on the ice.
