Thanks to winter and daylight savings, we here in Montreal are currently experiencing 5 o'clock (ish) sunsets, and I don't know about you, but I am officially sick and tired of it.
Getting home in the dark, having no energy, feeling like it's 9:00 pm when it's barely 7:00 pm. Enough is enough.
The good news is that the days are slowly getting longer (3 minutes and 12 seconds, every day) and there are only a couple of days left until daylight savings is finally over.
So that means that by next Monday, the sun will be setting 1 hour and 10 minutes later than is it now, and in 1 month, we will have 2 whole extra hours of sunlight.
This is what it's like today:
And this is what time the sun will rise and set on March 13th:
And finally, here's what it will look in 1 month:
Sure I know what you're thinking: "Jeremy you dumbass, that's how daylight saving works."
But I don't care, this makes me happy because it means I can stay up passed 7:30 pm without feeling like a tired old man.
