Naturally, since this dish is quite possibly the world's greatest invention, Montreal's L'Gros Luxe (3807 Rue Saint-André | Multiple locations) has been dedicating an entire month to the grilled cheese for the past couple of years. And this year is no different.
All the details have yet to be released, but considering L'Gros Lux is known for its seriously tasty dishes - like the poutine grilled cheese, for example - I, for one, cannot wait to see what they have in store.
There's literally nothing in the world better than cheese. When you really think about it everything good comes with cheese on it: cheese pizza, mac n' cheese, grilled cheese, cheese burgers, cheesy burritos and sooo much more!
The sight of cheese makes everyone's mouth water! I was honestly looking through pictures of cheesy meals and I couldn't help but get super hungry for a huge plate of mac n' cheese even though it's only 9am..
There's a super exciting event happening here in Montreal starting this weekend that's going to satisfy all of our cheese cravings! It's an all cheese festival!
Not only will this event include all the cheesy goodness you're craving but it's also a game festival where you can challenge your friends to all the classics like giant Jenga, mini-put, video games, ping pong and more!
Tickets to this awesome event cost $60 and include brunch, a cocktail and tons of fun surprises that you'll just have to wait and see. A portion of the proceeds from their ticket sales go towards helping blood cancer research.
Soon the fall weather will kick in and we'll be wearing our cozy sweaters, taking road trips to go apple picking, and drinking pumpkin spiced lattes all day every day.
But for now, we have this final weekend to enjoy the gorgeous weather and make the most of it! So don't sit indoors all day doing nothing, choose one of these amazing events happening in the city this weekend, grab your crew and have an awesome time!

It's not so much the fact that we have tons of restaurants, and it's not so much that some of the best restaurants in the province/country/world are located in Montreal. It's mostly because Montreal loves food - and we celebrate it all. The. Time.
Bouffons MTL will basically be a huge, outdoor, gourmet village featuring tons of awesome Montreal restaurants. You can taste signature dishes from Montreal spots like Hoogan Et Beaufort, Porchetta, Gusta, and much more!
There'll also be a sandy beach, a boardwalk, entertainers, and live DJs... plus, wine tastings (!) and cocktail bars. I don't know about you guys, but this sounds like the most fun thing, ever, hands down.
