Montreal Is Hosting A Big "Nintendo" Event This December

There's a very special event taking place in Montreal this weekend.

As you may, know there's as "mini" Super Mario Museum Exhibit you can visit at Musée Grévin until January 8th

But on December 3-4, there a special bonus event happening.

You're invited to attend the launch of the new Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS. 

This game lets you create and play and share your own Mario levels.

But it's not just a game launch, you'll also be among the first people to test out the game. And if you have a Nintendo 3DS, be sure to bring it with you because the first 50 people who show up with one will only pay half price to attend the event.

And if that's not enough Super Mario for you, you can always swing by the Super Mario and Friends Expo.

You'll learn the history of Nintendo characters, you can try out old classic Mario Bros. games on various systems including Nintendo 3DS, and you can test out the latest Paper Mario Game on the Wii U.

There’s also a bean-bag lounge set up in the center of the room facing a giant screen where people can play Mario Kart against each other or online.

Montreal's wax museum, the Musée Grévin, announced Thursday that it's closing its doors effective immediately.

It suggested on its website that it could not survive the past year's long-term closure due to the pandemic.
