Chocolate is more than just a delicious vice, it's a lifestyle. The same can be said about beer; as fun as beer is to just drink, a good beer can be appreciated just like a good piece of chocolate. What happens, then, when beer and chocolate are joined together? A night of unaldaluturated delicous-drinking, which is what will be in store for you at the "beer and chocolate pairing" party on Mont-Royal street tonight.
Hosted by La Tablette de Miss Choco, a quaint chocolate shop on Mont-Royal street, the event tonight is all about combining the unlikely pair that is beer and chocolate. Breaking the stereotype that chocolate can only be enjoyed with milk, the expert staff at La Tablette de Miss Choco will wow your taste buds with a harmony of hops and cocoa. Expect a high flavour (and calorie count) affair.
One of the many regularly scheduled events at La Tablette (others include chocolate tasting and whisky pairings) the Mont-Royal chocolate shop is pretty stellar during regular days as well. All about using the best fair-trade cocoa beans, La Tablette serves some legit, and intense (in the good way) hot chocolate. You'll want to warm up here with cocoa as the temperature keeps dropping.
The chocolate and beer pairing-party starts at 7pm tonight at La Tablette de Miss Choco (map) on Mont-Royal street. Learn more about the event and the chocolate shop by heading to the official website and Facebook page here.
