Montreal Is Hosting A Free "Cabane À Sucre" Festival

Get ready Montreal because one of coolest winter events is back again this year celebrating their 8th edition.

It's called the Cabane Panache et Bois Rond and they like to refer to themselves as the "guiding beacon for celebrating sugaring time like nowhere else!"

It's so much more than just a sugar shack, it's also the biggest urban lumberjack party in the city celebrating everything from maple taffy, square dancing, woodcutting and of course, food and music!

But that's not all, there will be lumberjack competitions, food stands, whiskey drinkeries, ax throwing, wood sculpting, a barbershop and even a miniature farm

It's the biggest and freest maple festival in Quebec!

It all takes place From march 22-25, and here's the complete schedule:

  • Thursday, March 22, 2018: 5 pm to 9 pm
  • Friday, March 23, 2018: 5 pm to 10 pm
  • Saturday, March 24, 2018: 11 am to 7 pm
  • Sunday, March 25, 2018: 11 am to 5 pm
