Montreal Is Hosting A FREE "îleSoniq" Outdoor Event At Peel Basin
So with what is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated electronic music festivals of the year set to explode at Parc Jean-Drapeau next month, îleSoniq have been busy getting us properly stoked and have announced the first official pre-party! Best part is, it's completely FREE and it's happening in one of our favourite places to be in the summer - OUTSIDE!
îleSoniq organizers blew our collective minds back in April when they dropped the full festival lineup which includes headliners like Deadmau5, Die Antwoord and Borgeous among many, many others. The 2-day festival is going to be huge so naturally, we can't hardly wait. To give us a taste of what's to come, DJ's Paris & Simo, ZAXX, and Dylan Aiden, in collaboration with Groupe Envergure, will be performing DJ sets at the Peel Basin tomorrow night (July 17) starting at 5pm.
If you've never been to the Peel Basin, it's super easy to get to (see above), and as a bonus, offers one of the sickest views of the Montreal skyline as a backdrop. We absolutely love this as an outdoor venue, and combine that with weather that is supposed to be very decent, there's no doubt this event will be hype. And don't worry, there are a couple of official after-parties already set to keep you moving well into the night.
