Last week, I wrote about both the YATAI Festival and Asian Night Market, both festivals are centeredย around Asian street food.
Today, I'm here to tell you about another cultural festival which will be going down in Montreal this August. However, this one doesn't only centre around food, but also culture. That means there will be tons of family-friendly activities, performances, and goodies for sale to enjoy.
The 17th edition of Matsuri Japon Festival which will be held at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Montreal is a celebration of Japanese culture.ย And there will definitelyย be a lot of real authentic food. Here are some of the street food items you can expect:

- Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake)
- Yakiniku (grilled beef)
- Yakisoba (sauteed noodles)
- Cold Udon (cold noodles)
- Ikayaki (grilled squid)
- Yakitori (grilled meat skewers)
- Salad Ramen
