Montreal Is Hosting A Huge "Beer & Whisky Festival" During Nuit Blanche Weekend

Let's be honest, the best kind of festivals involve two things: drinking and eating! And when it comes to doing both, nowhere does it quite like Montreal. As part of all the Montreal En Lumiere and Nuit Blanche festivities, La Cuvée D'Hiver is back for its third consecutive year and is sure to once again be the highlight of the entire event.
Whetting your whistle this year:
A wide selection of microbrewed beers from Le Trou du diable, La Succursale, McAuslan, L’Alchimiste, Dieu du Ciel and Les Sœurs Grises.
Local ciders, premium spirits and cocktails from Domaine Pinnacle, including Gin Ungava, Quartz vodka, Chic Choc rum, and "Coureur des bois" maple whisky.
And a range of natural wines from Les Cons Servent.
Staying warm won't be a problem either, thanks to the return ofWhisky Thursday, where festival-goers can sample unique and specialty whiskies from the United States, Scotland, Canada, France and even India. Don't worry, if you can't make it Thursday, there will be a regular Whisky Bar throughout the weekend as well.
And the food!
-L'Gros Luxe will be offering their classics and exclusive dishes made specially for the event, as well as a cocktail bar including their famous Caesars.
-L’Entre-Pots will no doubt have some delicious treats on offer.
-Pas d’cochon dans mon salon will be serving up their gluttonous pulled-pork sandwiches.
-CrémyPâtisserie will be there with their sinful doughnuts and gourmet popcorn.
-And Le Pork Shack does pepperettes that are the perfect beer snack.
Admission also gives you live musical performances from top local rockabilly bands: the wickedly-talented Hellbound Hepcats and Cherry Chérie - and Speakeasy Electroswing's DJ Don Mescal will also be back to keep us jivin' all night long.
Trust us, you do not want to miss La Cuvée D'Hiver.
