Montreal Is Hosting A Human Tower Circus Event This July

The Montreal Completement Cirque festival is starting up this week, and if you've been thinking of going, then you definitely need to check out the Castellers de la Vila de Gracia creating an eight-story high human tower. Yeah, that's right, EIGHT stories - and I get nervous when I just see someone sitting on someone else's shoulders.
Castellers de la Vila de Gracia is a Spanish group from Barcelona made up of 150 clearly incredibly fit men, women and children of all ages. The tradition dates back hundreds of years, so they've had plenty of time to perfect their incredibly impressive human formations.
Here's a video of them creating a 7-tiered human tower in Spain in 2013:

Crazy, right? It's enough to send you running to the gym in hopes of gaining just a fraction of their strength. If you want to see these insane acrobatics live, you can catch the show July 5, 11 and 12 at Place Publique de la Tohu (2345 Rue Jarry Est) and July 10 at Mondial des Cultures Drummondville.
