Montreal Is Hosting A "Korean Street Food" Festival This Month

If you thought food festival season was over just because summer is gone, you're most defintely wrong!

TL;DR A Korean market in NDG will be opening its doors for a "Korean food festival" Saturday November 24th from 11am-2pm. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door and range from $5-$15 depending on how much food you wish to sample.

Montreal is still hosting all kinds of great food festivals despite the cold setting into town. 

That said, you've probably found yourself on this page because Korean food is something you love. 

And I don't blame you, it's delicious. 

If you're a fan, you won't want to miss out on this huge Korean food festival hosted by Marché Oriental Jang Teu this month!

This asian market will be opening its doors for Montrealers to come sample and taste all kinds of Korean food and drinks.

Tickets will be available at the doors. A $10 ticket will get you 3-choices of tastings, 1 beverage, Korean dessert, and 1 ticket to enter a draw for prizes. And a $15 ticket will get you 6-choices of tastings, plus everything else. 

Or if you just want to come in and taste everything, single choice tastings are $5 each plate.

  • Dak gangjung – spicy Korean chicken
  • Japchae – Korean glass noodles
  • Guun Mandu – Fried Korean dumplings
  • Bulgogi – beef sauté with vegetables 
  • Kimbap – rice and vegetable rolls
  • Tteok boki –  Korean rice cakes in spicy sauce
