Montreal Is Hosting A LEGO Festival Next Month

'Everything is awesome!'

No matter how old you get, LEGOs will always have a special place in your heart. There was just something magical about taking those tiny bricks and letting your imagine fly.

The possibilities were endless, and yet somehow everything I built ended up looking like a spaceship.

And since we love festivals so much in Montreal, it's only fitting that we should have our very own LEGO festival.

Next month, Montreal will be hosting the Ciné Brique “LEGO Festival" at Collège Champlain in Saint-Lambert.

It's a three part event that is sure to have something for everyone.

Lego Exhibition

Here you can witness all the amazing LEGO creations made by people from right here in Montreal. The exhibition takes place November 19 and 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Adult Fans Of Lego Convention

For those of you without kids, don't worry, you won't be the only adult hanging out at a kid's event.

The LEGO festival has reserved a day exclusively for adults. On November 18th, adults are invited to enjoy their very own convention.

Attendees will receive a bag with free LEGO goodies, exclusive access to workshops and activities, and they will also be able to participate in several LEGO draws.

BrickFilm Festival

Finally there is the Brickfilm festival happenign as well. It features stop motion movies made entirely out of LEGO bricks. Professional and amateur works will be shown in the hopes it will encourage others to create their own brick films.
