Montreal is a fashionable city, some might even say the style capital of Canada. Cooler temperatures means more layers of cool clothes and an invitation to seriously step up your wardrobe before the snow and salt parade comes to spoil it for all of us.
While the expensive holiday period just around the corner, at least looking good this time of year doesn't have to cost a lot. Especially when you can get up to 70% off on your favourite designer apparel including Marc by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses, Diesel, Scotch & Soda, Maison Scotch, Wildfox, Hip and Bone, and One Teaspoon.
Born in the Mile End, and now based out of St-Henri, Surplus Clothing has been dressing Montreal’s awesome fashion landscape with trendy finds and old favourites since 1999. Pioneers of the sample sale, Surplus Clothing remains the locale for premium luxury for the fashion-forward trendsetter on a budget. While they have become a predominantly online clothing store, Surplus hosts warehouse sales a few times a year across Canada, with massive discounts, definitely better prices than they offer online.
It just so happens Surplus Clothing is hosting one of their popular warehouse sales this weekend! Find a diverse collection of stylish clothing, shoes, bags and accessories from designer brands including For Love and Lemons Skivvies, Cotton Citizen, Ash & Amber and more.
With a brand-new location in St. Henri, and a little something for everyone, this is the perfect opportunity tostart your holiday shopping with nearly a thousand pairs of designer jeans to choose from, warm sweaters, and stylish winter coats at a steal.

Searching for an out-of-the-box holiday gift for someone in your life? Look no further than GC Surplus, the site where the Government of Canada auctions off seized and surplus items in its possession to the general public.
As you can imagine, it gets wacky. But there are some gems to be found.
Listed below are 15 items, ranging from cars to holiday decorations, currently up for auction in Quebec.
Note that prices listed are minimum bids as of the time of writing.
These items will also disappear from the site once the bidding period has ended.
Details: One of the many (many, many, many, many, many) cars up on GC Surplus. This particular vehicle appears to be in decent shape (unlike others on the site), though GC Surplus makes clear that there hasn't been a mechanical inspection.
It also comes to you from the Department of National Defence, so that's interesting.
The Government of Canada might be the biggest junk collector in the country, accumulating hoards of seized items, old office furniture, and other random crap that comes into its possession. Enter GC Surplus.
The government uses the online site to auction off "surplus federal government assets" and "forfeited goods from federal and provincial law enforcement agencies" to the public.
All a potential buyer needs to do is register on the site to be able to bid on items that interest them.
One of the best things about it being spring, you know, apart from the fact that it's not winter, is the ability to start wearing our fancy swag again. We can finally trade our heavy (albeit functional) polar gear, for fly kicks, shorts, and shades to rock out in the warmer weather.
So it's no secret that Montrealers understand how to be supremely stylish, but we also truly appreciate it when we don't have to spend a lot to do it. That's why whenever we hear of a sweet warehouse sale happening in the city, we just gotta share!
Carrying some of the hottest brands out there, LEF Industries is a leading lifestyle distributor based here in the greater Montreal area, and it just so happens, it's hosting one of its massive shopping events this April 21-23, with discounts of up to 80% off and many samples also available.
With a huge assortment of footwear, clothing and accessories for both men and women, shop your favourite brands like Boxfresh, J Shoes, Lowell, Maians, ohw?, Iron & Resin, PLDM by Palladium and more, perfect for revamping your wardrobe, and just in time for summer.
Just make sure to get there early, because it's first come/first serve!
