Just when you thought Montreal couldn't possibly offer any more unique and amazing entertainment, this city lands a whole new kind of show combining the best kinds of entertainment all in one place.
Hot off sold-out shows in Las Vegas, New York, Japan and Australia, Empire in the Spiegeltent is hitting our fair city to take over the Quartier des Spectacles for a whole month starting next week. Now what the hell is an Empire in the Spiegeltent you ask?
Showcasing some of the most daring burlesque, acrobatic, circus, comedy and vaudeville acts in the world, Empire is unlike anything you've ever seen before. The Spiegeltent, a beautiful and ornate 650-person tent made of antique wood, beveled mirrors and stained glass, will soon be installed on the corner of Bleury and René-Lévesque. Inside, a single central platform sets an intimate stage for sexy and outrageous performances of all kinds to entertain all your senses. To make it all that much more intoxicating, a carnival-style bar will be be open throughout the show to make sure you stay well lubricated.
Because Empire features such an eclectic mix of acts and genres, there's literally a little something for everyone that you just won't find anywhere else.
