Montreal Is Hosting A Naked Nighttime Bike Ride This Summer
One naked bike ride isn't enough in Montreal. That's why we also have the Nighttime Naked Bike Ride for those who want to ride bikes naked but don't want feel like having to wear sunscreen on their butts. You get all the excitement of a naked bike ride but with no chance of getting sunburned in a sensitive area, PLUS you benefit from a tiny bit more "coverage."
Face it, everyone's going to see your junk anyways, but at least at night you'll be less recognizable when someone posts a picture of you on Facebook.
Just take a look at all the pictures from last year's event.
This event happens every year and their message is clear: "Our message to the world is one of simplification, human harmony and love. For a future to exist for tomorrows generations, we have to stop wasting the life blood energy of the Earth, stop fighting and killing in the name of consumerist wealth accumulation and learn to love and respect all life on this planet.” - World Naked Bike Ride
They want to put a stop to the idea of "indecent exposure" while promoting the use of bikes over cars. They face traffic naked in order to showcase the vulnerability of cyclist and pedestrians.
To participate in the event, you must meet at Dorchester Square at 9:00 pm on August 1st. The group will get naked at 9:45 pm and the ride starts at 10:00 pm. After the ride, everyone will stay naked for at least half an hour so that everyone can take some group photos.
