Montreal Is Hosting A "90s Video Game Festival"

Get excited Montreal, because Quebec's largest toy convention is almost here!

Retro Expo Montreal is by far the biggest gaming, pop culture and entertainment expo ever to grace the city and it's all taking place this November!

Over 80 booth will be on site selling and trading toys, action figures, videos games, and of course, comics!

It all starts Sunday, November 26 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Delta Montreal Hotel and Resort.

If you're a Montreal-based musician, you have the chance of a lifetime to be in this year's Osheaga lineup!

A contest held by La semaine des 4 Julie will give one Montreal artist or band the unique opportunity to be part of the upcoming Osheaga Get Together at Parc Jean-Drapeau on October 3.

Montreal's Pride March Will Be In Person This Year — But Don't Expect A Parade

Festival organizers say it's a "return to the roots of the Pride movement."

The Montréal Pride Festival aka fierté montréal announced today that its main attraction, "The Pride March," will be back in person this year — one of the city's first physical gatherings in support of the LGBTQ2+ communities since the beginning of the pandemic.

But don't expect a typical Montreal Pride Parade complete with vehicles, floats, dancers, and all the usual festivities. According to a press release, the current health context does not allow for a traditional parade.
