I don't know about y'all, but when it comes to the greatest decade for video games, cartoons, comics, and toys, the 80's definitely take the cake. You got G.I. Joe, the NES, Transformers, Thundercats, She-Ra. Jem And The Holograms, and the list goes on and on. Nowadays anything from the 80's is classified as "retro" which is totally fine with me, because that means all the magic of the 80's will be found at Retro Expo Montreal.

You inner child/geek will be fully unleashed at what I'm calling a "retro gaming festival" which will also feature everything else from nerd culture, including anime, comic books, toys, and sexy people cosplay-ing (if there's a sexy Lion-O I may lose my shit) it up. And if you didn't understand half of the references I've already made in this article, this will be your chance to broaden your nerd culture horizons.

All the 90's kids shouldn't fret, because it would be a crime against nature not to include the likes of Sailor Moon and all your favourite superheroes will be on site too.

The concentrated nerdgasm that will be the Retro Expo will be going down at 7655 Décarie (map), about a 3 minutes walk from Namur Metro station. Only costing you a very affordable entrance fee of $2, Retro Expo Montreal will be getting poppy with culture from 10am to 5pm on Sunday February 8th. Find out more at the official event page here.
