Montreal Is Hosting A Super Cute Free Cat Festival

No lie, I love cats. I used to be super scared of them because of a childhood trauma involving the botched reenactment of a certain Lion King scene (... I still have the scars to this day), but now I'm chill.

And, if you're a cat lover too, then you might need to sit down for this one, because I've got some great news for you.

Centre Pierre-Charbonneau (3000 Rue Viau) is hosting a festival for cat lovers on May 21, 2016.

Appropriately named Le Chat-lon des Artistochats, this event will highlight Quebec-made artisinal cat themed items, like jewelry, clothes, accessories, and more.

Of course, this cat festival will also see the likes of real life feline guests, including Quebec's own (famous!) The Oreo Cat. Best of all? The event is totally, 100% free. I know, friends. I know.

Sound like the best event you've heard of yet? Check out the Facebook event for more information.

Also, if you're looking to adopt a cat, the SPCA is waiving all adoption fees for ther cats over one year old this week. (Free kitty companion, anyone?)
