Montreal Is Hosting An "Erotic Art Festival" This Weekend

Montreal is known for its high culture and art scene. There is plenty of art located throughout the city from murals and in museums.

Montreal also has its fair share of sultriness, with strip clubs and some of the greatest burlesque shows in the country. 

With the Erotic Art Festival, you now have the best of both worlds: art and sex. This is the 11th edition of this sexy fest, which features hundreds of international and local artists.

Celebrating erotica and sexuality in all artistic forms: sculptures, movies, photography, fashion, drawings and more!  

Other activities include erotic/fetish/boudoir photography, live erotic painting with nude models and body paintings. 

The festival is being held in the gay village at Circus. The space will be transformed into a pop-up museum, with four unique areas decorated with erotic art installations. 

The Erotic Art Festival starts today and is only here until Sunday September 2nd. Day passes are $10. 

Schedule of the festival:

  • August 30th: 6pm-12am- official opening night 
  • August 31st: 12pm-8pm- view the exhibit 
  • September 1st: 12pm- 8pm- view the exhibit; 9pm-1am- live rope bondage and suspensions and Erotic Circus Pre-party ($15 for tickets); 2am-10am- erotic circus party (3 dance floors with gogo dancers).
