Montreal Is Literally Being Infested With Butterflies
This past weekend was absolutely beautiful.ย The weatherย was warm, the sun was shining, and the butterflies were... kind of invasive.ย
You may have spotted one or two or in some cases,ย 50,000 butterflies over the weekend. Don't worry you're not crazy,ย these things literally AREย everywhere!ย

The entire province of Quebec is seeing an unprecedented ย "Painted Lady" butterfly migration.ย
Hundred of millions of them are currently making their way across the country as part of their annual migration.ย
Normally, the migration goes unnoticed because they tend to fly high above our heads, but because of the warm weather, not only are they flying lower but there are a lot more of them.ย
Luckily they should be making their way out of the province within the next week, which is probably for the best otherwise Montreal would be covered with frozen dead butterfliesย come winter.ย
