A brand new bar is about to open in Old Montreal.
But this isn't just any bar. It's called Bord'Elle which is a play on words for "whore house", so we're already off to a good start.
According to Journal de Montreal, this place captures the essence and the vibe of New York in the 1920's, that's because it was entirely inspired by the Great Gatsby.
The place is incredible! It looks like it's modeled after a luxurious hotel lobby, complete with high ceilings, chandeliers, mirrored walls, a gramophone DJ booth, purple velvet seats and mezzanines with their own private bars.
The venue itself can fit up to 500 people.
There are 3 different bars inside, including a "champagne cocktail" bar, and a Scotch bar made to look like a cigar lounge.
Bord'Elle is located on 390 Rue St-Jacques O. and the grand opening takes place tonight!
