Montreal Is Opening An All-New "Portuguese Chicken" Restaurant On Saint Catherine Street

Hey, who here's down for a little riddle? Everyone? Great. Okay, here goes: what's moist, crispy, perfectly charred, and so delicious you just can't get enough of it? If you said bacon, you're wrong. Bacon should never be charred. The real answer is Portuguese chicken; or, as I like to call it, the chicken of the gods.

I think it's pretty safe to say that in Montreal, we have very strong opinions about where our favourite Portuguese chicken spots are. In truth, there's no such thing as bad Portuguese chicken - it's all amazing, let's be honest - but there are definitely some spots that reign supreme in Montreal.

And if one of your fave spots for Portuguese chicken happens to be Jano (3883 Boul St-Laurent) - or even if you're in the market to try some brand new, amazing Portuguese chicken - then you're in luck. According to Resto Montreal, Jano's Grillades is opening up a brand new location on St. Catherine street.

This means that those of us who are in the mood for some of their signature delicious chicken, grilled calamari, or one of their other Portuguese delights no longer have to make the trek down to the Plateau to indulge. Best news all week? Best news all week.
