Montreal Is Shutting Down For Two Days

On November 16th, over 400,000 Quebecers will be on strike for two consecutive days. 13 Schools, 60 health institutions and many, MANY, other institutions of the public sectors will heavily be affected by the protests.

Last Friday, the public sector workers association (SISP) declined a proposed salary increase from the government and now the workers have decided to take it to the streets to protest against poor salary conditions.
