Montreal Now Has A Completely Free Indoor Skate Park

Alright boys and girls, Montreal's skate scene just got a whole lot better thanks to a brand-new urban skate park opened right next to the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. If you've been itching to bust out your deck and/or BMX all winter long, here's your chance to hit up some banks indoors, and even better, it's totally free.

The good people at Mountain Dew Canada figured why wait all the way 'til summer to get riding when they can set up the Dew Underground, a totally innovative and interactive pop-up skate park open to the public everyday and free of charge.

The Dew Underground features two vert ramps (4-ft and 7-ft), as well as a mini street-course to get 'dem juices flowing, and a super chill vibe where you can kick-back, sip some Dew, and hang out with your friends. There's also weekly workshops, trick competitions and band nights to check out for extra good times.

The weekly free concerts at Dew Underground go down every Friday night. This Friday (Feb 20th), the East End Radicals will be taking the stage and Bear Mace will be performing on February 27th.

The Dew Underground is open daily from 10am to 11pm at Cité 2000 in the East end, but only until March 4, so make sure you take advantage before it all gets packed up and moved to Toronto.

Check out the Dew Underground Facebook Page for more details, and don't forget to register for free right here.
