Montreal Now Has A Puppy Petting Zoo Downtown

Probably the cutest news you've heard all day: Today is National Pet A Dog Day! Well, not actually but it might as well be. Since 6 a.m this morning, puppies have been parading the streets of Quartier des spectacles in downtown Montreal.

The main purpose is to raise funds for the MIRA Foundation, an organization that specializes in ensuring that things be accessible to everyone, through the use of therapy dogs.

V TV has collaborated with MIRA Foundation to form the event called la journée qui a du chien.

There will be puppy shows, puppy fiestas and plenty of cute activities that you can enjoy with these adorable animals. You can spend your afternoon loving and petting puppies while taking pictures with them.

If you can't get there today, you can now donate in just one click.

Text CHIEN at 45678 to donate $10

Text MIRA at 45678 to donate $20

This fundraiser will take place mostly at Quartier des spectacles, but you can also catch a glimpse at the following metro stations: Berri Uqam, Lionel Groux, Jean Talon.

Hurry up and get to one of these locations, it'll make you that much yappier (pun intended)

Event finishes at 8 pm.
