There's been a new addition to the Montreal Old Port food scene, and it's about as amazing as amazing can get. The same people that brought you Muxbox, the pop-up lobster restaurant that operates out of a shipping container, have now opened Taco Box, a taco shack that will make all your Mexican food dreams come true.

It too is inside of a recycled shipping container, at the corner of de la Commune and McGill, and the food that's coming out of there is delicious. The tacos are between $4 and $6.50 each, or you can get a combo of 2 tacos, nachos and salsa for $ 10. It also makes the perfect meal to grab on the go.

The menu for Taco Box is as follows:

  • Lobster Taco

  • Pork meat Taco

  • Lamb meat Taco

  • Duck meat Taco

  • Vegetarian Taco

  • Guacamole

  • Tomatillo ancho salsa

  • Piment serrano (Sriracha)

I don't know about you but I'm going to be getting in as many of these tacos as I can before they close up shop for the season. They're open from 11:30am to 9:00pm every day (depending on weather), until the end of September.
