There are very few experiences in life that elevate your whole existence to a new level of awesome. One of those experiences, I'm convinced, is trying Dirty Dogs' bacon mac and cheese poutine for the very first time.
But if you've ever been to Dirty Dogs, then you know they're about so much more than just that life-affirming poutine.
Their main focus is on gourmet hot dogs, serving up beef, pork, and veggie sausages, all piled high with some seriously legit toppings. (Yes, including bacon mac and cheese).
Until now, we all had to travel to the far reaches of Mont-Royal Street (25 Avenue du Mont-Royal East) in order to taste some of their delights. But very soon, there will be a brand new Dirty Dogs location, right where the old Burma Ruby used to be on St. Laurent (3685 Boulevard Saint-Laurent):
Although there's no word just yet on the finer details, like the opening date, it's still pretty awesome to know that everyone's favourite dogs will be doubly available.
As far as we can tell, though, there are ads for Labatt in the windows (which means they'll probably be serving up alcohol).
Plus, we've heard that there'll be a $5 menu, and brand new food items to enjoy (which just might include burgers, too).
We've also heard that they'll remain open until 5AM, and on the weekends, they'll have DJs and screens for hockey games.
But don't worry - we'll update this post as soon as more information becomes available.
