Montreal Opens First-Ever Thai Rolled Ice Cream Shop

Little sweet rolls of happiness.

Okay, who here has ever been to Thailand (or Malaysia)? If your hand is up, then the chances are very high that you know all about Thai rolled ice cream.

If you've never had the chance to try this iced delight, then let me break it down for you.

Rolled ice cream is pretty much the most awesome thing to happen to frozen dessert, ever. It's basically an ice-cream base and some yummy add-ins (like cookie crumbs or strawberries) poured onto a cold plate, and then rolled into gorgeous morsels of happiness.

All the ice cream here is super fresh and made without synthetic preservatives- and is locally sourced, to boot.

Pandan also offers super scrumptious flavours, like blueberry, matcha, and Pandan (the leaf after which the shop is named), and homemade toppings like cookie crumbs, candied tamarind, and whipped cream.
