Montreal Opens First-Ever "Vegan Poutine" Restaurant
I know I've said it a million times, but I'll say it again: vegan food is bae.

Although I personally am not vegan, I still very much enjoy eating vegan food. And, obviously, I respect everyone's diet/lifestyle choices.
So whenever there's a new vegan spot opening up in the city, I get super excited.
Like Gusta (191 Place du Marché-du-Nord), which has been around for a while in Montreal. They make vegan sausage and cheese, and mostly sell their products in grocery stores.
But now, Gusta's brand new restaurant in Marche Jean-Talon is finally open. The focus is on vegan comfort food, like shish taouk, burgers and brunch.
And, of course, poutine. Although it's not 100% clear when their poutine will make its debut (an Instagram comment does confirm they'll sell it in their boutique, though), it's safe to say that with Gusta's seriously tasty vegan cheese, it'll be the highlight of your diet.
