A crazy collision occurred in the early afternoon today on Sherbrooke street in Montreal, as you can see from the damages in the photos, the impact was intense.

Here is what we know about the accident.ย
A police officerwas driving west on Sherbrooke Street in an attempt to intercept a car which was violating the Highway Safety Code when he aggressively collided with another vehicle traveling northbound from Cartier Street.
According to a witness who says he rescued the injured motorist it is possible the two men involved could be at fault.
The witness claiming he did not see the motorist looking both ways before crossing Sherbrooke and the officer did nothing to slow down, implying that the officer may have been distracted.ย
@dominiccyyrAlthough it's still blurry as to which driver's neglect ultimatelyย caused the accident, the two men involvedย were taken to the hospital as a precaution but have since been released and are unharmed.ย ย

The police car involved in the accident was part of the SPVM's Heritage fleet of contemporary vehicles that had been dressed according to the designs from 1931 to 1972, that's the reason for its different color and look.ย
