Montreal Police Officer Spotted Buying Wine At Provigo Downtown While Blocking Traffic

*UPDATE - According to CJAD, the police officer was price-checking the bottle of wine after confiscating it from a suspect.

There's no question that the men and women of the SPVM work hard everyday to serve and protect us, and it's by far no easy job, but sometimes Montreal cops really don't make it easy for themselves.

Apart from the ridiculous pants they've taken to wearing and the stickers they've plastered all over their cars, which is essentially vandalism by their own definition, one police officer was seen buying wine at a Provigo last night, with her cruiser, lights flashing, double parked outside on Parc Avenue.

Sure, parking in Montreal is a bitch, and there's nothing more comforting than a nice bottle of red at the end of a long day, but blocking traffic and using your police lights as flashers is not cool. Jokes, but not cool.

This is unfortunately why some people have trouble taking the police seriously sometimes.
