Montreal Ranked #2 Best Winter Travel Destination In The World

Montreal's tourism industry is fragile, so any news that encourages more people to visit our beautiful city is a good thing.

But it looks like the rest of the world doesn't hate us, because Montreal has been named the #2 most underrated Vacation destination.

What's even better is that the destinations on the list were all chosen because they are affordable. Every trip on the list should only cost around $1000.

Montreal was actually tied with Quebec city for the #2 spot. But we're proud to share the glorious moment with our fellow Quebecois.

The city was praised for its amazing winter festivals, including Igloofest, the Fête des Neiges and Montreal en Lumiere. Plus you can book a 4 star hotel room here  for under $100, making us very attractive destination for our neighbors in the south.

Here are the rest of the cities that made it on the list:

1. Hilo, Hawaii

2/3. Montreal - Quebec City, Quebec

4. Arches National Park, Utah

5. Bend, Oregon

6. Napa Valley, California

7. Rapid City, South Dakota

8. Scottsdale, Arizona

9. McCall, Idaho

10. Bermuda
