Honestly, it's no secret that Montreal is full of amazing places to eat. There's something about having a diverse and amazing cultural scene, plus a bunch of very talented individuals, that makes for one hell of an awesome place to eat.
Although you've heard this story from me before - it's really kind of obvious how much I love Montreal's food scene - and although I'm sure many of you feel the same way, it's good to know that we're all right. Officially.

A website called Canada's 100 Best has swooped in to validate what we've all suspected for a very, very long time - that Montreal's restaurants reign supreme. In particular, the website has named one Montreal restaurant as the #1 in Canada: Toqué (900 Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle), which many of us already know as being super popular, and downright awesome.

According to the website, this judgement call was made by a team of chefs, food critics, and other prestigious people in the dining world - so pretty much, you know it's legit.
