The Montreal STM green line has been partially shut down due to a medical emergency, according to post to the ligne verte Twitter account.

Specifically, the shutdown affects the stations between Pie-IX and the terminus at Honoré-Beaugrand, inclusive.

UPDATE: Normal metro service has resumed.

EARLIER: Details are few and the circumstances of the medical emergency are unclear.

Service on the line is expected to resume at 12:45. In total, the line will have been inoperational for about an hour.
