Montreal Student Protesters Destroy UQAM Overnight
One more reason we need a Batman in the city.

Well the protests don't seem to be coming to an end anytime soon as the students decided to occupy one of the UQAM buildings overnight. They barricaded the staircases and the doors using desks and recycling bins and vowed that they would stay there all night.
During the "sit-in" protesters vandalized the halls, spray-painted angry messages, broke windows and surveillance cameras, destroyed vending machines and pretty much trashed the whole place. Classes were scheduled to begin at 9:30 am, but by then the cleanup was barely underway. No matter what side of the argument you're on, I think we can all agree that this kind of situation doesn't help anyone.
