Montreal To Host A Huge 'BBQ Food Festival' This Summer

After a hugely successful 2018 edition, West Island's Ribfest is back for the summer of 2019! The three-day street festival that takes over the West Island will run from August 16th to August 18th!

Sponsored by the Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island, Ribfest is three days of rock music, games, family activities, and of course delicious ribs! With over 30,000 attendees last year, you're sure to expect that Ribfest 2019 will be even bigger and better than last year's!

TL;DR  Montreal Ribfest 2019 is happening, people! From August 16th to August 18th, meat lovers rejoice and come to get your rib on.

Last year's edition hosted six BBQ crews from Canada and the U.S. We don't know how many will show up to this year's edition, but you can expect amazing ribs from whoever shows up.

Not only that, but many local restaurants and vendors will be serving beaver tails, ice cream, corn-on-the-cob, lemonade, and even lobster! There's way too much food, so you better come hungry!

Once you're stuffed on ribs and snacks, stick around to enjoy local rock and blues music that's playing throughout the event. Last year, 18 bands hit the stage over three days, providing carnivores with an amazingly rocking soundtrack.

Located last year on an empty fairground at 13665 Boul de Pierrefonds, Montreal Ribfest was a little outside the city centre, but totally worth the trip!

From August 16th – August 18th, come one, come all to Montreal Ribfest 2019! We'll see you there, folks.
