When we announced the news yesterday, a lot of people didn't want to believe this day would actually come, but it finally happened. 

Montreal woke up to some snow this morning. And not that kind that melts away gently before it hits the ground.

Some areas got several centimeters, and even though the first few melted away, there was more than enough to cover the rooftops, the sidewalks and even most of the streets. 

Unfortunately because of last night's rain and rapidly dropping temperatures, there are actually a few ice patches as well. So if you're driving or crazy enough to take your bike out this morning, be careful
