Montreal Website Offers STM Metro Prints For Your Home

So great, you will want at least 8.

Photo cred - @metro_mtl

Say what you will about the service of Montreal's metro system, which can be a bit of a pain sometimes, at least the station's themselves are pretty to look at. Each station in the STM network is entirely unique, with a different design by a different architect and many forms of art installations gracing every station. Some may say Montreal's metro stations are works of art in themselves, and now you can hang them up in your house like a real piece of artwork.

Metro_MTL is a new website + Instagram account all about the aesthetic glory of Montreal's metro stations, and want to "bring the beauty of the metro into your homes, restaurants and workplaces."

Taking photos of each and every station in the four line metro network, Metro_MTL has a portrait or print of all 68 metro stations ready for you to hang. Having a picture of a metro station may seem strange, but the photos taken by Metro_MTL are quite striking, and can definitely grace the walls of any apartment or office, adding a very authentic Montreal-vibe to the room.

The portraits offered by Metro_MTL include the metro's signs, artwork synonymous with certain stations, and the benches you wait on for the train, and many more. Tote-bags are also offered for certain stations, so you can show your pride while on the go. All I know is that it'd look pretty slick/meta to have a portrait of the benches at Berri-UQAM above your couch.

See what I mean in the example photos below, couresy of the Metro_MTL Instagram feed.

Grab your own metro station prints and portraits by heading to the Metro_MTL website here and the STM Metro tote bags here.
