Montreal Will Now Publicly Embarrass You If You Leave Your Garbage Outside

We're all aware that local governments can come up with some pretty weird ideas, but this has got to be one of the craziest things that we've heard in a long time. The South-West borough is now using giant, hot pink arrows to publicly shame people for dumping their garbage on the street and not picking up after their dogs.
Now, and I'm not saying you should do this, but if this was my neighbourhood and I had a neighbour that I didn't particularly like, I'd be all about leaving garbage bags on their lawn just to watch them get publicly humiliated with a neon sign.
So far the signs that they're using are emblazoned with the messages "Your garbage bothers me” and “Shit! Pick it up”. A little aggressive if you ask me, but apparently asking nicely hasn't worked in the past, so the borough wants to use some harsher tactics. Stickers with the same messages will also be available for citizens to use, which we're 100% sure will only ever be used for their intended purpose.
