The only thing more attractive than a Habs player is a Habs player with his dog. Seeing hockey players snuggled up with their pets is something that always makes my heart instantly flutter. It's hard not to let these cute four-legged creatures wag their way into our hearts and homes, even when you're as busy as a player for the Montreal Canadians is.
Big or small, dogs give unconditional amounts of love and look very cute while doing it. As a dog mom myself, I know the amount a love these blessed little creatures can provide you with and it comes as no surprise that they have managed to captivate the hearts of our cities finest, our hockey team.
The players of the Montreal Canadians are real local celebrities, which makes their dogs notable canines of the city. From getting hang out by fireplaces and opening presents on Christmas day to going ice skating and hanging on boats in Mexico, these little animals hit the jackpot when it comes to who they got as dads.
Seriously, some of these dogs live a more glamorous life than I do!
We were not the only people happy to hear that Philip Danault was staying in Montreal. Even his dog knows what an amazing city it is!
Max Domi showed some love to his best friend on Instagram and even captioned it "there isn't a day that goes by where you don't put the biggest smile on my face."
Carey Price is a family man and clearly enjoys chilling out by the fire. In this photo, we can see him relaxing with four of his pact members.
Kovalchuk got into the holiday spirit and posed with matching outfits with his family, dogs included.
Tomáš Tatar and his gorgeous girlfriend clearly adore their little pooch. And, daddy Tatar clearly wanted to share his passion for the sport with his little family.
Tatar also knows the importance of spending time away, with his loved ones. He even took his girlfriend and four-legged child on a trip to Mexico!
All of these photos are adorable, but I must say, this photo of Brendan Gallagher is one of the cutest things I have ever seen...
This picture of Nick Cousins with his puppy is also ridiculously cute.
He. Is. So. Small.
As are Paul Byron and his munchkin of a dog.
I'm being honest, I think this photo of Nate Thompson and his pup Eddie really takes the cake.
Who can forget Flambo? The official dog of the Habs. He plays, trains and hangs with the team, so he deserves a spot on this list.
