I think it's safe to say that summer 2020 has been saved. As places all over the city start to open up again, life feels as though it may be slowly getting back to normal. And included on that reopening list are Montreal cafés, which I know so many of us have been missing.

It's thrilling to know that so many cafés in the city are finally reopening for more than just take out, but for dining inside or either on the terrasse.

From sipping on ice lattes to munching on yummy treats, cafés are a go-to for so many of us.

And I know I'm not the only person who missed being able to sit inside a café and enjoy sipping on a warm, comforting coffee.

So, we at MTL Blog took it upon ourselves to find the best cafés in the city that are now opened for business. And by business, we mean that you can sit and chill with your best friend in.

The good kind of "business," right?

We hope getting to hang out at these city spots again is as exciting for you as it is for us.

Café Moustache

Address: 35, rue Beaubien E., Montreal, QC

With this café officially opening on June 25, I'm almost positive many coffee lovers will be flocking to hang out at this popular spot.

Livia Café

Address: 1468, rue Peel, Montreal, QC

Livia is officially reopening June 25. Since they'll be letting half the normal amount of clients in, you'll still have the chance to hang out at this adorable local spot while sipping on your coffee or matcha.

Barley - Bar à Céréales

Address: 2613, rue Notre-Dame O., Montreal, QC

Barley is officially open, and I know many of you have been missing hanging out at this spot and sipping on a cereal latte we all love so much.

Clarke Café

Address: 2483, rue Centre, Montreal, QC

Clarke Café has not yet opened the inside, but there are picnic tables set up for you to enjoy your coffee.

Marinelli Brothers Café

Address: 31, rue Queen, Montreal, QC

Marinelli Brothers is one of the city's go-to coffee spots and although the inside is still closed, they have set up high tables outside for customers to enjoy.

Address: 1455, rue Sainte-Catherine O., Montreal, QC

Hvmans is an adorable café that is officially open for business. The café is taking safety measures to make sure that customers are protected during their relaxing café visit.

Duc De Lorraine

Address: 5002, rue Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC

One of the best French cafés in the city, Duc De Lorraine, is officially open for business again.

Café Lulu

Address: 852, rue Sainte-Catherine E., Montreal, QC

This charming café is a great spot for you and your BFF to gossip while sipping on coffee. And, with it officially being open, the wait is over.

Address: 4775, rue Jean-Talon O., Montreal, QC

Both the terrasse and the inside are open.

And all coffees and dishes will be served in to-go containers to make sure that everyone stays as safe as possible.

Enjoy the caffeine boost.
