A Montreal Starbucks Barista Reveals The Most Disgusting Drinks She's Ever Made

The great thing about Starbucks is that you can customize your order to be exactly what you want. You want extra milk in your latte? They'll do that for you.

Want coconut milk instead of water in your tea? They'll do that for you? Want skim milk, an extra shot, 3 pumps of caramel syrup and whipped cream in your machiatto? They'll even do that for you.

However, this endless customization can also be a barista's worst nightmare. From awfully picky customers to all-around terrible drink orders, these employees have to deal with a lot.

And, as anyone who's ever worked minimum wage before can tell you, you simply don't make enough money to deal with all that crap.

When I spoke to a friend of mine, who works at a Starbucks in Montreal, to find out about some of their best Starbucks hacks, I had one burning question remaining: what's the worst drink you've ever had to make?

The answer was not disappointing. As it turns out, baristas make a variety of terrible drinks on a regular basis.

Two of our local barista's most memorable? Well, first off, there's the "keto drink," which, as it turns out, is when you take the Peach Citrus White Tea Infusion, replace the syrup with a sugar-free version, and add some heavy cream.

Our barista made one for herself once to try it. The verdict? "Undrinkable."

Another nightmare-inducing drink was a customer's complicated order, which was a coffee frappuccino, modified to be made with decaffeinated coffee, 35% cream instead of milk, and with 3 added stevias for sweetness

Apparently, it was as bad as it sounds.

The Internet is also choc-full of these awful drinks. A reddit thread asking baristas what the worst drinks they've ever made reveals some crimes against nature, like this drink:

Other memorable answers include things like an "Iced skinny Carmel macchiato upsidedown 3 [pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup], no espresso and 8 pumps frap roast" or a "Trenta berry hibiscus no water— add two shots of espresso."

Is that a thing? Coffee in your tea?

I can't.
