This past weekend truly was a busy one in Montreal. Not only did we have the F1 Grand Prix in town, but there was also Mural Fest, which has hundreds of artists in town for the next week painting up our city.
On top of that, Adam Sandler was in townto do a show at Montreal's Centre Bell as part of his Netflix special "100% Fresher," and as per usual, he had a bit of an entourage.
Plus, he was spotted hanging out with one of Montreal favourite ex-pats, PK Subban.
The last time Sandler was in town, he actually crashed a wedding in the downtown area, which resulted in the most hilarious and likely most-cherished wedding photos ever.
This time the antics were kept to the stage, but he still managed to make a bunch of fans' day. First of all, by gifting the crowd at the Centre Bell with laugher... but also backstage pics, like the ones seen above.
But Sandler and Rob Schneider, seen on the left, were in town all weekend and since they know and love the city, they were seen spotted in several locations!
Notably, they hung out with PK Subban and Harvey Keitel. You might not recognize Keitel in this photo, but you likely know him as Mr White from Reservoir Dogs. He also made a cameo in Beyonce's "Pretty Hurts" music video.
In some of those photos, it's pretty clear that they're hanging out at 1 Oak at the Ritz Carlton in Montreal's downtown area. In the other photos, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Harvey Keitel and PK Subban are all seen enjoying a meal at Montreal's Ristorante Beatrice down on Sherbrooke West.
Rob Schneider also posted this video to his Instagram account on Saturday, before Sandler's show.
He's very clearly walking down Crescent Street in this video, enjoying everything the busy Montreal street has to offer, especially on a weekend like this, where there are endless things to take in!
Believe it or not, Adam Sandler is now 52 and still managing to bring the laugh wherever he goes.
I also think there is something so adorable about Sandler and Schneider still going everywhere together, and I imagine that their friendship is something that has kept them both so chill over all these years.
Hopefully, this weekend was a total success and we can expect to see Sandler back again before long, considering this was his first stand-up performance in the city in 27 years!
