Manager, Digital Innovations

If you're a passion-driven being who works well in a team, this position could be for you.

Air Canada is seeking individuals who will be responsible for "driving a core innovation strategy that supports the overall branch objectives", according to the job description.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and must possess strong communication skills.

Airport Service Help Desk Coordinator

"The Airport Service Help Desk Coordinator provides 24/7, 365-day support to Altea users worldwide and E-ticket partners when required," as stated in the job description.

Those selected for the position will "process incoming calls, reset passwords and assist with Customer Sales and Service agents when facing problems related to Altea systems."

Applicants interested in this position should work well under pressure, have great interpersonal skills and must be willing to work nights and/or weekends.

This is a one-year contract, not a permanent position.

Ground Support Equipment Mechanic - CAT 23

Air Canada is looking for "dynamic individuals who are able to fill both full time and part-time positions as a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic."

A Ground Support Mechanic must have a high school diploma and must be able to successfully pass the pre-employment qualifying exam, among other things of course.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in business, math or engineering and will demonstrate excellent communication skills. Those thinking of applying must have the ability to multi-task and must possess a strong "entrepreneurial spirit," according to the job description.

Due to the confidential nature of the work that you will be doing, there will be a "high degree of discretion required."

Applicants must also be aware that occasional travel may be necessary.

Team Leader

A team leader is responsible for coordinating and supervising "maintenance activities that are required to provide serviceable aircraft that meet the Transport Canada and Air Canada requirements."

The ideal candidate would be hardworking, with good verbal and written communication skills. They must also possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent.

Manager, Risk Management & Actuarial Valuation

If you have a university graduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance or other related fields and you're looking for a new job, this position may be ideal for you. Some of the daily responsibilities include supporting the Chief Risk Officer with all their responsibilities.

Ramp Agent (Station Attendant) - Cargo

If you're not intimidated to drive and operate a ramp servicing vehicle or marshal an aircraft then this could be a great position for you. The ramp agent is also responsible to load and unload cargo and passenger baggage.

Those who apply for the position must be available to work irregular shifts. Shift Premiums will be paid differently depending on the day and time. "Afternoon - $0.50 for each hour worked between 18:00 and 23:00. Midnight - $1.00 for each hour worked between 23:00 and 6:00," as stated on the job description.

Ramp Agent (Station Attendant) - Airport

A Cargo Ramp Agent has similar responsibilities to the Airport Ramp Agent, with the same schedule and pay.

If you have a driver's license and have the strength to lift heavy objects, then this job may be a perfect fit for you.
