Another Teenage Boy Was Stabbed In Montreal Last Night

Last night, another man was stabbed in Montreal, this time outside of a depanneur. The incident took place late on Tuesday night, at a convenience store in Montréal-Nord.

Paramedics rushed to the scene to treat the victim, a nineteen-year old who was working as the dep store clerk. Police were also called to the scene by an anonymous person. 

Luckily, the victim is expected to survive. He is in the hospital being treated for injuries to the upper body. This is just one in a string of unrelated stabbings that the metropolis has been witness to this week.

A little before 11 on Tuesday night, police were called to the scene of a stabbing on the corner of Prieur St. and Pie IX Blvd.

When they arrived, they found a nineteen-year-old man with injuries to the upper body.

When police arrived, the suspect fled the scene. However, police found and arrested the suspect, a 56-year-old man, a little while later

According to preliminary reports by police, the stabbing occurred whena fight between the two men degenerated.

The suspect was being questioned overnight, according to CTV. As for the victim, he is expected to survive his injuries

This is not the first stabbing this month, or even this week. On Sunday night and Monday morning, three people were stabbed in a series of unrelated crimes.

Two of the victims died from their injuries, making them the ninth and tenth homicides in the metropolis this year.

According to psychological studies, when it is hot out cities experience a higher rate of crime. This may help to explain why these incidents are happening more frequently this week.
