  • Find out more about this action-packed snow park below.

There are so many winter sports to try out this season, and though snow tubing may not technically be a sport, it can be adrenaline-packed enough to feel like it. Especially if you head to a place like Super Glissades.

Super Glissades is a giant tubing park an hour north of Montreal in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, which has the fastest tracks in the province. Forget tubing down Mount Royal this winter, the tracks at Super Glissades will have you flying through the air and reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h if it's cold enough.

There are 17 tracks that vary in speed and difficulty — so if you want to start out slow and build your way up to more thrill-seeking levels, you can.

As it would be exhausting hiking your way back up to the top every time, there are also six mechanical lifts that will pull you back up.

You have the option of facing the tracks alone or if you're with friends and family and want to share the experience you can take one of the snow-rafts that holds 4 to 12 people.

A full day pass will run you about $30, but Friday and Saturday nights are only $12. Weekend evenings are an amazing time to go as the tracks are lit up for a cool nighttime experience.

Each ticket also includes a horse sleigh ride.

The park usually opens mid to late December, depending on the snowfall. And this place can get busy! Being so close to Montreal, it's an easy drive for a day of adrenaline fun.
