Breaking: Mysterious Gas Leak Reported Along Sherbrooke West In N.D.G.

There is an apparent gas leak along Sherbrooke West in N.D.G between Old Orchard and Girouard Streets, according to eyewitness accounts. Authorities are currently on scene to identify the source of the problem. 

We don't have precise details of the situation, but it's recommended that you avoid the area just in case something serious happens. People living in the area have been advised to stay indoors.

TL;DR  There is a reported gas leak along Sherbrooke West in N.D.G. between Girouard and Old Orchard. Authorities are on the scene for preventative measures.

Along Girouard, the entrance to the highway and the route to St-Henri makes it one of the busiest stretches of street in N.D.G.

You may remember in 2017 that Girouard Park (now known as N.D.G. Park) got destroyed by a freak storm. The N.D.G. community reeled at the loss off their beloved park but it's since been successfully revitalized.

Renovation projects have allowed for special events pavilion to open in the park, which has hosted Shakespeare in the Park and N.D.G. Porchfest in the summer months.
