Video Shows CĂ©line Dion Apologize To Fans In Montreal For Cancelling Show

In a video speaking to her fans, CĂ©line Dion has cancelled two more Montreal shows scheduled to take place at Montreal's Centre Bell this week.

This is on the tails of Céline's need to postpone four other shows scheduled for Montreal. The singer was hit with a throat virus last week after performing in Québec City.

The first four of the six shows will now go down between November 18th and November 22nd, and the last two of the six happening on February 18th and 19th, all still at the Centre Bell.

In the video, CĂ©line gives an honest and heartfelt explanaition, showing how upset she is, herself, that she has to postpone the shows.

"For me, it’s a lot harder to postpone a show than to do a show and I’m so sorry for disappointing you," she says. "We got off to such a great start in Quebec and I was really looking forward to Montreal. When I perform for you I always want to give you everything I’ve got. Sorry again Montreal and thank you for believing in me."

The video, shown below, features Céline in what I'd like to call hear 'Healing Outfit.' Still stylish, but meant for ultimate coziness. She speaks French as she addresses her fans in Montréal, apologizing for having to postpone the last two of her six shows.

CĂ©line was forced to postpone the first four of her six shows in Montreal last week due to a throat infection. The last two were left on the schedule with the assumption that she'd be well enough by now to perform, but unfortunately that was't the case.

Fans were completely understanding, with comments left under the video a complete outpouring of support and well-wishes for the québécoise songstress.

The messages above thank CĂ©line for the thoughtful message, assert that her health comes first, and wish her a speedy recovery.

A couple comments did mention what a shame it would be if there were fans who wouldn't be able to attend the later dates - but even those messages were filled with kind words for the singer.

Fans on Twitter, too, were supportive and encouraging... in their special, Twitter kind of way...

The plan, for now, is to perform the first four of the shows in November, and the second two in February to make up for the total run of 6 shows that would have gone down over the past two weeks.

In the meantime, you'll just need to be satisfied with all the new music that CĂ©line has been releasing lately.
