Chance The Rapper Is Coming to Montreal

Mark it in your calendars, it truly is 'the Big Day' in Montreal this coming November. 

Chance the Rapper has just announced the Canadian portion of a giant North American Tour for his album, The Big Day.  And oh yeah, Montreal is on that list!

We've been listening to this album since it dropped (which is on pretty much all streaming devices like Spotify) on July 26th. This is Chance's debut studio album and it was worth the wait. Now knowing we can see him live - hear it live - just made our week. 

Chance has been vocal on Twitter how this was hismost personal work yet which is easy to see since it focuses on all the emotions he went through on his wedding day. And fans are loving his progression as an artist. We're eating it up too. 

Under the guise of 'go big or go home', Chance's first for-sale album is a massive 22 tracks and you've got big names from Timbaland (producing) to Nicki Minaj (featuring) making appearances.

All of this to say - couldn't be happier the Grammy winner is making a trek north over the border! With so many big-name artists and the personal feel of the songs, it will be interesting to see what they put together for a live show. 

According to the press release "special guests" will be announced at a later date!

Tickets for the November 7 show go on sale August 2 at 10 AM and they will probably go fast. 

If you can't make the Montreal show, he is playing in Toronto and Ottawa earlier in the month. Chance. Dear, Mr. Rapper... One small complaint (or capital complaint), 'Ottawa' is misspelt in the official social posts. Ehem.
